Michelle Collamore

My name is Michelle Collamore. I am currently 47 yo, I was diagnosed with 3c triple positive inflammatory breast cancer in 2013 at age 35. I have been married to Wilson “French Fry” Collamore Jr. since September 28, 2022, and live in Waldoboro, Maine. I have two daughters; Kathleen (26) and Samantha (23), and three step-children; Parker (22), Fletcher (18) and Bella (16). Kathleen, has our two grandchildren, Robbie Jr. (2 yo) and Estella (2 months). I was born in Massachusetts, and grew up having lived at three lighthouses between Massachusetts and Maine. In 1987, we moved to Maine again and I have lived here ever since. I graduated in 1996 from the former Georges Valley High School in Thomaston, Maine, and attending some college at the University of Maine Augusta. In 1997, I got married and had our first child in 1999 and our second in 2002. My diagnosis came in 2013, and was divorced in 2015. In 2021, a platonic friendship blossomed into more and I remarried in 2022 to the most amazing man and love of my life. I work P/T for a chain home improvement store in the cash office, and my husband is a fisherman. I spend most of my spare time with my husband. We enjoy sea-glassing, walking on the beach, boating, photography, cooking, collecting stickers, gardening, and have recently starting making various crafts together such as custom miniature buoys, recycled rope mats and rope swings, to name a few. I also try to spend time with the grand-babies as much as I'm able to. We have four cats; Otis, Milo, Saige and Pepper. My dogs, Jasmine and Abe, crossed the Rainbow Bridge over the past year. Abe having been the reason for me finally receiving a diagnosis when I did. There also have been two other dogs; Jane and Ellie Sue, and six other cats; Clyde, Lulu, Max, Georgie, Freddie, and Jack (a hospice cat with terminal cancer) cross over since the time of my diagnosis.
